Comprehension
I have always had trouble understanding what people mean when they communicate. An early example that always comes to mind is a test I had in the third grade. It was a days of the week test. The 1st question was today is blank, then yesterday was blank, then tomorrow will be blank and so on. I remember thinking to myself , how in the world could the person who wrote this test possibly know what day I would be taking this test. Not being able to understand the thoughts of the author of the test I decide I would start with the 1st day of the week, Sunday. I filled in the blanks , and was correct with all my answers, if the day was Sunday ofcourse.It was not Sunday so all of my answers were wrong. The teacher openly ridiculed me for my answers in front of the class. It would have been hard enough to articulate my reasoning to the teacher , once the emotions of shame and embarrassment entered my psychy , it was impossible.
